We exist to build bridges with the unlikely and bring many into ever deeper relationship with Jesus.
A church on the Lekki-Epe corridor — and beyond.
One Church started pre-launch meetings on February 4, 2018, opened for Sunday services on February 18, 2018 and was inaugurated on September 23, 2018. Our first expression is on the Lekki-Epe Express corridor in the Sangotedo area of Lagos State, Nigeria.
Our worship services are led by our Lead Pastor, Tunde Usidame. We also run a junior church ministry where children and teenagers are taught and ministered to according to their age brackets.
Vision & Mission
God has given everyone a platform for being a blessing to humanity, and in that place we have a great assignment — to bring many into relationships with Jesus. God built a bridge (Jesus) to reach us; our job is to extend that bridge into the hearts and lives of the people He brings our way.
We will do this by
- An undying commitment to the Word of God.
- Sacrificing, serving, sharing and being vessels of joy to the world.
- Expressing love from the heart, always.
- Doing whatever it takes to facilitate experiences with Jesus — because lives are transformed thereby.
Ministry is service.
Many opportunities to serve in the church and community exist through counselling, life groups, medical outreaches, hospitality, protocol, ushering, media, choir and more — with new initiatives and outreaches being birthed as we grow. Our Membership program outlines our vision and important information about the church.
What We Believe
The Bible is God's Word
We hold Scripture as the inspired, authoritative Word of God for our lives.
One Eternal God
We believe in one eternal God, revealed in Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Sin Separated Us
We believe sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives.
Only Jesus Reconciles
Jesus Christ — fully God and man — lived sinless, died in our place, and rose again to reconcile us to God.
New Birth Through Repentance
To receive forgiveness and the new birth we must repent, believe in Jesus, and submit to His will.
Baptism & Holy Living
To live holy and fruitful lives we are baptised in water and filled with the power of the Holy Spirit.
Fellowship Matters
We believe in the Church and the necessity of meeting together for fellowship, prayer and the breaking of bread.
Fully Equipped
God has individually equipped us to worship Him, fulfil our role in the Church and serve our community.
God Heals & Blesses
God wants to heal and transform us so we can live healthy, blessed lives that help others.
Heaven and Hell
Our eternal destination is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus Is Coming Back
We believe the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.
